A lazy Saturday

Today was a good day :)

I slept in till about 10 and I think Mommy did too. Neither of us was cranky today! Breakfast was yummy, as always. A raspberry Nutrigrain bar and another banana. Mom says she got too many bananas last time she went grocery shopping. I miss blueberries. They are a lot less messy. But don't worry, I still really like eating bananas.

I chose my own outfit today. Gray tights with my pink hooded tunic. It's sweatshirt material so it's nice and warm. Mom wanted to do my hair again today but I just wanted to go for the casual look, so I let her know what was up. And down it stayed :)

Lunch was also yummy, a veggie burrito! It was actually Mommy's lunch, but I got so upset when she started eating it in front of me without offering to share (RUDE!) that she ended up giving it to me and making herself another one. I don't get why Mom and Dad don't share their food. I mean, I ALWAYS offer some of what I'm eating. Always. Sometimes I'll even taste it first and if it's particularly yummy, I'll pull it out of my mouth and offer that up. They don't usually accept what I offer, but at least I'm willing to share.

After lunch was an extremely long nap. A solid two hours of sleeping. I woke up refreshed and a little stinky. Mom was sick all day (I blame my new brother or sister, that kid is already bugging the crap out of me) so Daddy had the honors. He was impressed. I think I take after him. He also did a really good job so I let him know. Applause is good for an old man's self esteem. So are high fives, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love those too. So I think he was feeling pretty good after his applause and a high five. Good enough to order pizza even!!

Onion, pepperoni, and anchovy pizza. I actually really enjoyed it. I had a little bit of his and a lot of Mom's. She got chicken alfredo. Whoo boy, rich. But yummy! Dinner was delicious. I actually ate more than Mommy did! Dad can still out eat me but I'm closing the gap!

Oh! I got a card from Great Grandma Ginia today. When I saw it, I said, "Oh look!" and then made sure to show it off to Ben and Daddy. It's a picture of a beautiful blonde girl giving a big hug to a black cat. It might as well be me and Ben! I really liked it. I love getting mail! And opening it, too, of course.

It looks like I'll be getting a bath soon, hopefully followed by a reading of my favorite book, Babies on the Move. And then I guess it'll be bed time.

Until tomorrow! Pisel out.
